Swimmer pups

Jackson reached a big milestone this summer - he learned to swim! We tried to get him in the pool on a few previous occasions, but he was a total baby about it. We taught him how to use the stairs and found his ultimate motivator, his ball. We'd throw his ball just out of reach and before long he was swimming after it! He warmed up to the idea of swimming and turns out he's really fast! Chris often couldn't move fast enough to avoid his quickly paddling nails.

Jackson's still struggling with remembering to use the stairs, but he sure gave us a huge laugh when he went fully under while attempting entry from the side. He came up pretty annoyed but learned a good lesson. He also rode on the floaty with Grandpa for awhile and has decided the pool is a fun game now.
